Thanksgiving Turkey Collaboration!

Cedar Valley Sustainable Farm announces collaboration with Gunthorp Farms!

The first and best meat CSA in Chicago is teaming up with the premier provider of pasture-raised turkeys to top restaurant and retail outlets.

October 9, 2017 (Chicago, IL)—

CVSF is excited to announce they will again partner with Gunthorp Farms to bring drug-free, GMO free turkey to their customers and CSA members just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.

November 18th delivery sites include:
Ravenswood  – Begyle Brewery
Logan Square – TBA
 Edgewater – Heartland Café
Evanston – Temperance Tap
Oak Park – Kinslahger Brewing Co.
Naperville – Solemn Oath Brewery

This collaboration pairs the Greg Gunthorp a pioneer farmer in the farm to table restaurant movement with Beth and Jody Osmund who brought the first direct to consumer, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) meat and egg share to Chicago.

“Over the past decade, we’ve fed hundreds and hundreds of families the best sustainable beef, chicken, eggs  and pork; but we’ve struggled to fit holiday turkeys into our busy farm schedule, “ says Jody. “Now, with the help of Gunthorp Farms, we’re able to supply our members and individual consumers with delicious, sustainable turkeys that they can feel good about serving to their families.”

Details and ordering information is available at the CVSF website.
